About This Course
This course will equip child protection workers with best practices for responding to reports of child sexual behaviors. By the end of this training, learners will be familiar with child sexual development and the difference between typical child sexual behaviors and problematic sexual behaviors. The following topics are included in this course:
- Screening child sexual behaviors for behaviors of concern
- Understanding key components to effective treatment for problematic sexual behavior
- Steps to respond to child sexual behaviors and engage families in the social service setting
- Steps to refer families to services
- Resources and referrals

How to Take This Course
